The aim of this policy is to ensure coverage for any medically necessary surgical or medical services, including consultations, diagnostic tests, or investigations required to diagnose, alleviate, or treat a disease, illness, or injury.
Treatment may be provided as an inpatient, day patient, or outpatient, depending on the scheme you select.

The scope of coverage depends on the scheme you select, as detailed in the Table of Benefits:
Basic Scheme: Provides worldwide treatment coverage.
Europa Scheme: Covers treatment in Malta with full reimbursement up to the maximum payable fees. Treatment in Europe is covered if the same or similar treatment is unavailable in any hospital in Malta.
Hospital Scheme: Covers treatment in Malta with full reimbursement up to the maximum payable fees and offers limited coverage worldwide.
International Scheme: Offers worldwide treatment coverage with full reimbursement up to the maximum payable fees. In the USA and Canada, coverage is limited to emergency treatment only.
For group policyholders, the list of benefits and coverage limits may differ from those provided on this website. Please refer to the Table of Benefits provided by your group administrator for precise details.
You may include your spouse, partner, and children on your policy by providing their details on the application form. Premiums are calculated individually based on each person's age and chosen level of coverage.
Parents and siblings are not considered dependents and will require separate quotations.
As the policyholder, you can add a newborn child to your policy free of charge until the policy's expiry date. To do so, you must submit a copy of the birth certificate within three months of the child’s birth.
For group policyholders, if the inclusion of dependents is permitted, this must be arranged through your group administrator.
Premium payments are required in full at the start of the policy period, covering the entire year, regardless of your selected payment frequency.
From the second year of coverage, you may opt for half-yearly, quarterly, or monthly installment payments. These will incur installment charges, calculated as a percentage of your annual premium.
All installment payments must be set up via direct debit.
Your coverage begins from the policy start date specified in your Schedule, provided the premium has been paid.
Certain conditions are subject to a waiting period, as outlined in the Health Policy and Table of Benefits. This means medical expenses for these conditions or procedures will only be covered after the designated waiting period has been completed.
